A cuboidal fish tank has a length of 30 cm, a breadth of 20 cm and a height of 20cm. The tank is placed on a horizontal table and it is three-quarters full of water. Find the area of the tank which is in contact with water.

explanation :
volume of the tank = l b h
= 30 * 20 * 20
volume of 3/4 of water = 3/4 * 30 * 20 * 20
so height of the water = 9000/30 *20
which is 15 cm
area of the tank which is contact with water = 2(l + b)h
= 1500cm^2
