Height of tank =160cm (total)

Length=breadth= 30cm

So,

Total volume of tank =l×b×h

= 30×30×160 = 144,000

Water fills up to 40cm

Volume accomodated by water=40×30×30

= 36,000

So left over holding capacity =total capacity-actual water held

=144,000-36,000

=108,000cm

Answer Therefore, the tank can contain 144000 - 36000 = 108000 cm3 of more water.

Step-by-step explanation:Height of tank =160cm (total)

Length=breadth= 30cm

So,

Total volume of tank =l×b×h

= 30×30×160 = 144,000

Volume adjusted by water=40×30×30

= 36,000

So left over holding capacity =total capacity-actual water held

=144,000-36,000

=108,000cm
