First you can find out the total surface area of the cuboid.....then you can multiply it by 12....
Total surface area of Cuboid = 2 (lb x bh x hl)
===× 2 ( 20×16 + 16×14 + 14×20 )
===× 2× 824
===× 1648 sq cm
Now you need 12 such boxes
so multiply oit by 12
===× 1648×12
===× 19,776 sq cm
I think you will get your answer.... : )

Area of required sheet of tin to make 1 tin = 2(lb + bh + lh)
= 1648cm2.
Therefore, Area of required sheet of tin to make 12 tins = 1648*12
= 19776cm2.
Hope that it will help you.
