total volume = 600 cm³

l = 12 cm

b = 10 cm

h = ?

volume = lbh

600 = 12 x 10 x h

h = 5 cm is the correct answer

Given:

➛A cuboidal vessel is 12 cm long and 10 cm

wide.

To Find:

➛If 600 cubic centimetres of liquid is to

be poured into it, what should be its minimum

height?

Solution:

⊱ Given measurements of cubiod:

 \sf \longrightarrow \: lenght =  \purple{12cm} \\  \\ \sf \longrightarrow \: width =  \purple{10cm} \:  \\  \\ \sf \longrightarrow \: hieght =  \purple{xcm} \:  \:

Now ,

  \rm\underline{600 {cm}^{3} \: of \: liquid \: should \: be \: poured }

so,the volume of the container is 600cm³

  \sf \purple{\longmapsto \: volume \:  = l \times b \times h}  \:  \:  \:  \: \\  \\  \\   \sf \purple{\longmapsto600 {cm}^{3}  = 12 \times 10 \times h} \\  \\  \\   \sf \purple{\longmapsto600 {cm}^{3}  = 120 \times h} \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \\  \\  \\   \sf \purple{\longmapsto \: hieght =  \frac{600}{120} } \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \\  \\  \\   \sf \purple{\longmapsto \: hieght = 5cm} \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:

 {\therefore} \sf \underline{ \: hiegt \: of \: the \: container \: equals = 5cm} \bigstar
