Teacher's day was celebrated in a grand manner on 5th September, 2019 at Government Girls' Higher Secondary and Multipurpose school, Tezpur. Sri Bharati Das,The principal of our school inaugurated the programme at 10.00am by garlanding the Potrait of Dr.Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. He delivered a speech on the life and vision of Sri Radhakrishnan. Besides, Some of the students of class 10 and 9 delivered very Valuable speech on the good relationship between teachers and students. The students welcomed the teachers and the non teaching staff of the school with their love and respect. They also felicitated the teachers with Assamese gamosas . A Jyoti Sangeet was sung by the students of class 10. Sweets were distributed to all The programe ended up at 2.00pm with our principal's sort thankfully speech.
