Answer:

1/4 + 2/5

LCM = 20

5/20 + 8/20 = 13/20

Milk used = 20/20 - 13/20 = 7/20

Answer:

solution \:  =  \frac{1}{4} +   \frac{2}{5}  \\  = lcm \: of \: 4 \: and \: 5 = 20 \\  = percent \: of \: sugar + flour \: in \: the \: batter \:  =  \frac{13}{20}  \\  = to \: find \: milk = 20 - 13 = 7 \\  =  \frac{7}{20}  = 100 \times  \frac{7}{20}  \\  = 700 \div 20 = 35 \\  \\  = answer = 35\%
