New current will be double of the previous current. (condition - keeping the voltage constant)

Explanation:

Ohm's Law states that - V = IR

where: V - voltage

I - current

R - resistance

hence, current (I) = V/R

Now, if the condition is with keeping the voltage constant,

if the resistance is halved which means we've to devide resistance by 2

i.e we are multiplying V by 2, we will get New current that will be double than the previous current.
