We are given, I = 0.5 A; t = 10 min = 600 s.
From Eq. (1), we have
Q = It
= 0.5 A × 600 s
= 300 C

SOLUTION :

Given :

current (I) = 0.5 A

time (t) = 10 minutes

so,

as we know 1 minute = 60 seconds

now,

10 minutes = 10 × 60 = 600 seconds

To be found :

amount of electric charge that flows through the circuit

As we know,

{\bf{I}=\frac{\bf{Q}}{\bf{t}} \\\:\:[in\:\: which\:\: I =current,\:t = time.\:Q = electric \:\:net\:\: charge(flowing) ]\\

so,

\bf Q =It

\bf Q = 0.5\: A \times 600\:sec

\bf Q = 300\:C

Hence,

The amount of electric charge that flows through the circuit is 300 C
