current =1.6 mA or 1.6 ×10`³ A
charge on electron= - 1.6×10^-16 C
Now,
I =q/t
current in one second ,
I = q
so , in one second 1.6 ×10`³C charge pass through the conductor.
According to quantization of energy,
q= ne
n= q/e
n= 1.6×10`³/1.6×10^-16
n=10¹³
Hence, 10¹³ electrons will pass conductor in one second.
