Given :

Current (I) = 10 A

Time (T) = 2 min = 2 × 60 = 120 sec

To Find :

Amount of charge passed

Solution :

We know, current is the rate of flow of charge. So,

Current (I) = \frac{Charge (Q)}{Time (T)}

or, Charge (Q) = Current (I) × Time (T)

Here, I = 10 A and T = 120 sec

∴ Amount of charge passed = 10 × 120

                                               = 1200 C

Therefore, the amount of charge passed through the conductor is 1200 C.
