a current of 10A flows through a conductor for 2 minutes
(i)calculate the amount of charge passed through an area of cross section of the conductor second
(it) if the charge of an electron is 1.6 * 10 ^- 19 C, then calculate the total number of electrons flowing.

(i)current=charge/time
charge=current*time(q=I*t)
q=10*2*60 seconds=1200 Coulomb.

(ii)n*e=charge(where n is the number of charge and e is the value of one charge)
n*(1.6*10^-19)=1200
n=(1200/1.6)*10^19
solve and get the answer.

anu5728: guide me 7.5*10^21 hai. but when I solve the question the answer is 7.5*10^19
helpingbuddy40: 1200/1.6=750
helpingbuddy40: and we have 10^19 if u want 7.5 instead of 750 u need to increase 2 power of tens
helpingbuddy40: so our answer comes out to be 7.5*10^21
