di/dt = time rate of change of current = 4 A/s

i = 2 A

L = inductance = 2 H

energy stored in inductor is given as

U = (0.5) L i²

taking derivative both side relative to "t"

dU/dt = (0.5) L (2i) (di/dt)

dU/dt = (L i) (di/dt)

dU/dt = (2) (2) (4)

dU/dt = 16
