A current of 2 ampere produces 200 joule of heat in a wire in a given period of time of the currents in case of 4 ampere how much it will it produce in the same time

I = 2A

H = 200 J

Let resistance br R ohm and time for which current flows be t seconds

H = I^2 R t

or 200 = 2 *2* R*t

or R*t = 200/2= 100..........1

now, new current l'= 4A

H'= (l')^2*R*t. ( as resistance and time are constant)

or H'= 4*4*100 ( from 1)

or H'= 1600 J
