Solution:- given current I = 5.0A
Time 'T' = 16 min 40sec = 1000sec
∵ charge 'Q ' = It = 5× 1000 = 5000C
we also know that , 'charge ' Q = Ne
where , N is number of electron flows through the circuit during that time .
∴ 5000 = Ne
N = 5000/1.6×10⁻¹⁹ [∵charge of electron = 1.6× 10⁻¹⁹C]
- N = 5× 10¹⁶/1.6 = 3.125×10¹⁶
Number of electron flows through circuit during that time is 3.125 × 10¹⁶
