J= I²·R·t
I=5 amp,
Resistance=12Ω,
time=2min⇒ (2×60)sec⇒120sec [we will take time in sec as it is the standard unit]
Plugging these values in the equation for heat generated:
J= 5²·12·120
=25×1440
=36000Joules
Hope it helped. Mark.

HERE IS YOUR ANSWER............
_____________________________
GIVEN:
CURRENT(I)=5A
RESISTANCE(R)=12Ohm
TIME(T)=2min=>120sec
HEAT = I^2RT
HEAT= (5)^2×12×120
HEAT=25×1440
HEAT=36000J
