current, I = 50 mA or 0.05 A

number of electrons, i = ?

I = Q / t

0.05 = Q/1

==> Q, quantity of charge = 0.05 C

Number of electrons in 1 C = 6.24 × 10^18 e

So,

Number of electrons in 0.05 C

==> 0.05 × 6.24 × 10^18

==> 5 × 6.24 × 10^16

==> 31.2 × 10^16 electrons
