Given :

Current flow = 5A

Time interval = 50 min

To Find :

Amount of electric charge flows through the circuit..

Solution :

❒ Electric current is defined as the rate of charge flow per unit time in conductor.

Mathematically, I = Q/t

It is a scalar quantity having only magnitude.

SI unit : A (ampere) or C/s

Dimension formula : [A¹]

Electric current is a fundamental physical quantity.

First of all we need to convert unit of time into second.

We know that, 1 min = 60 s

∴ 50 min = 50 × 60 = 3000 s

By substituting the given values;

➠ I = Q/t

➠ 5 = Q/3000

➠ Q = 3000 × 5

Q = 15 × 10³ C

Answer:

We know thɑt current flowing through ɑ conductor is given by chɑrge upon time

i.e.

I = dq / dt

given thɑt , current = 5ɑ

ɑnd , time = 10 min or 600 sec.

Hence, Q = l × t

=> 5 × 600

=> 3000 w

or 3 Kw

I hope this will help you dear..
