Given:- current (I)= 0.8 A , Time (t)= 15min

To find:- The amount of electric charge that flows through the circuit.

Solⁿ:- Firstly change 15min into sec →15min = 15×60= 900sec

Let us assume the amount of electric charge flowing through the circuit as 'Q'.

We know that,

i = \frac{q}{t}

where i stands for the current, q stands for the amount of electric charge flowing and t stands for time.

q = i \times t

q = 0.8 \times 900 \: c

q = 720c

Therefore, the amount of electric charge flowing through the circuit is 720C.

Given

➲ Current flowing (I) = 0.8 A

➲ Time taken (t) = 15 minutes.

To find

Amount of electric charge flowing through circuit

Solution

From the given question we have ;

⇒ Current (I) = 0.8 A

⇒ Time (t) = 15 minutes

= (15 × 60) s

= 900 s

⇒ Charge flowing (Q) = ?

We will use the formula for finding electric current in a circuit , that is :

Current (I) = Charge(Q)/Time(t)

Substituting values,

⇒ 0.8 = Q/900

⇒ Q = 0.8 × 900

⇒ Q = 720

Q = 720 Coloumbs.

Amount of electric charge flowing through circuit = 720 c [Answer]
