Answer: The marked price of TV is Rs. 30000

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the marked price is x

Now there  was a tax of 28%

Customer paid = Rs. 38400

Therefore

MP + 28\% \text { of } MP = Rs. 38400\\\\\Rightarrow x+\dfrac{28}{100} x= 38400\\\\\Rightarrow \dfrac{100x+28x}{100} = 38400\\\\\Rightarrow \dfrac{128x}{100} = 38400\\\\\Rightarrow x= Rs. 30000

Hence, the marked price of TV is Rs. 30000
