Marked Price =3600, Selling Price =3312

Discount =M.P–S.P

=3600–3312

Answer:

Discount=marked price -sale price

=₹3600-₹3312=₹288

Since discount is calculated on marked price. For calculating the discount percentage we use MP as the base.

On marked price of ₹3600, the discount is ₹288

On marked price of ₹100,how much will the discount be?

Discount percentage =288/3600×100=8%

We can also find discount when discount percent is given.
