A cycle of mass 15 Kg has velocity of 10m/s. After covering the distance of 10m it comes to rest. Find the force of friction between the road and cycle​

The centripetal force acting on the bicycle is given by,

 Fc=rmv2

=100100×10×10=100N

Required frictional force to cross the turn,

Ff=μmg

=0.6×100×10=600N

As the frictional force is greater than the centripetal force, so the rider will be able to cross the turn.
