Work Done will be 450 J

Explanation:

The energy required is the kinetic energy of the cycle together with its rider

Given data :

Mass of Cycle with weight = 100 kg

Velocity, v = 300 ms^-^1

Kinetic Energy is given by the formula

Putting the given values in the formula, we have

Kinetic Energy = \frac {1}{2} m v^2

= \frac {1}{2} \times 100 \times 3^2

= 450 J
