Approximately 980 bundles of tires does not have any defect.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:

                 No. of tyres in one bundle = 10

                 Probability of defective tyre is 1 over 500 tyres.

                 no. of bundles having tyres = 1000

                 So, total no. of tyres in bundles = 10000

                 No. of defective tyres = \frac{10000}{500}

                 No. of defective tyres = 20

So, no. of tyres that are not defective is equal to subtraction of total tyres to defective tyres.

                                                = 10000-20

                                                = 9980

So, bundles that do not have deffective tyre = \frac{9980}{10}

                                                                          = 980
