let the CP = 100

then the cycle is sold at 100× 100/10

sp = 100 + 10 = 110

but if it had been sold at 65 more than gain would be 14%

then sp would be 114

difference = 114 - 110 = 4

4 units = 65

1 unit = 65/4

then cp = 100 units

CP = 100 × 65/4

CP = 25 × 65

CP = 1625

Answer:

CP=1625

Step-by-step explanation:

let the cost of cycle=x

10%gain=X into 10/100=x/10

14%gain=x into 147/100=7x/50

7x/50-x/10=65

7x-5x/50=65

2x/50=65

2x=65 into 50

x=3250/2

CP=1625
