Answer:

Distance travelled by the wheel in one revolution =2πr=2×

7

22

×

2

28

=88cm

and the total distance covered by the wheel

=13.2×1000×100cm

=1320000cm

∴ Number of revolutions made by the wheel

=

88

1320000

=15000.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:-

A cycle wheel has a radius of 28 cm.

To find:-

what distance will it travel in one revolution?

In 24 revolution?

Solution:-

Radius of the cycle(r)=28 cm

i)Distance travelled in one rotation

=Circumference of the cycle(circle)

=>2πr units

=>2×(22/7)×28

=>2×22×28/7

=>2×22×4 cm

=>176 cm

The cycle travel in one revolution=176 cm

ii)The distance travelled by the cycle in 24 revolutions=24×176cm

=>4224 cm

The cycle travel in 24 revolutions=4224 cm
