Solution :-

Given ,

  • Length or height of rod = 0.7m
  • Radius of rod = 0.4 m
  • Mass of rod = 3700 kg

We need to find ,

  • Density of silver rod

If we need to find the density of silver rod firstly we need to find the volum of rod . Since the rod is in cylindrical shape .

Volume = πr²h

→ Volume ( rod ) = π × ( 0.4 )² × ( 0.7 )

→ Volume ( rod ) = 3.14 × 0.16 × 0.7

Volume of rod = 0.351

Now , finding density of rod using ,

Density = mass/volume

⇒ Density = 3700/0.351

Density = 10541.31 kg/

Hence , density of silver rod is 10541 kg/
