cyclist. (8-0)/3 == 8/3 = 2.667

car (30-0)/8== 30/8 ) =3.75

no , acceleration of car is higher .

Answer:

Explanation:

acceleration formula = \frac{final speed - initial speed}{time taken} \\

according to the formula,

8-0/3 = 8/3 \frac{m}{s^{2} } => is the acceleration of the cyclist,

30-0/8 = 30/8 \frac{m}{s^{2} } => is the acceleration of the car.

let's compare them by first making the denominator common,

\frac{90}{24} > \frac{64}{24}

Hence, the acceleration of cyclist is not higher than that of the car.
