acceleration= final - intial velocity/ time taken

                   = 8-0/3

                           =8/3

             =2.66 m/s

Answer:

2.67 m / sec²

Explanation:

Given :

Initial velocity u = 0 m / sec

Final velocity v = 8 m / sec

Time t = 3 sec

We are asked to find acceleration a :

Using first equation of motion :

v = u + a t

= > a = ( v - u ) / t

Putting values here we get :

= > a = ( 8 - 0 ) / 3 m / sec²

= > a = 8 / 3 m / sec²

= > a = 2.67 m / sec²

Hence we get required answer!
