For the cyclist;

time elapsed (t) = 5 s

initial velocity (u) = 0 m/s

final velocity (v) = 10 s

distance (s) = 50 m

acceleration (a)

 =  \frac{v - u}{t}  =  \frac{10 - 0}{5}  =  \frac{10}{5}  \\  = 2 \: m {s}^{ - 2}

Hence, acceleration of the cyclist was 2 m/s².
