A cyclist completed a journey in 3 1/2 hours. The speed for the first half of the distance was 15 km/hr and for the second half was 20 km/hr. Find the total distance covered by him.​

it means we have to to count it a journey in 1 hour for this:

31/2=12.5/ hour

again the the speed of the first half distance is 15 km per hour

it means we have to multiply 12.5 into 15

: 12.5×15=18.75

then we have to multiply second half distance that is 20 km per hour

:18.75×20=375

then you have to add all the distance that is

=406.25
