Speed of Cyclist in m/min,

Speed= Distance/Time

Speed=( 1000/5)m/min

Speed = 200 m/min

Hence, Speed of Cyclist in Km/h = (200x 0.06)Km/h

Speed = 12 Km/h

Distance covered = 1000 m = 1 km

Time = 5 minutes = 5/60 h = 1/12 h

Speed = distance/time = 1/(1/12) = (1×12)/1 = 12 km/h

Speed of cyclist is 12 km/h
