Answer:

average speed = total distance/total time

average speed=22.5/3 hrs and 45 mins.

but you have to convert time into seconds

3hrs and 45 mins=(3×60×60)+(45×60)seconds.

Answer:

His Average Speed was 6 km/hr

Step-by-step explanation:

A cyclist covers 22\frac{1}{2} km in 3 hrs and 45 mins

Average Speed = \frac{Distance Covered}{Time Taken}

= \frac{\frac{45}{2} }{3\frac{3}{4} } km/hr

= \frac{45}{2} x \frac{4}{15} km/hr

= 6 km/hr
