A cyclist driving at 5m/sec picks up a velocity of 10m/sec at a distance of 50m. calculate acceleration and time in which the cyclist picks up velocity.

v^2 - u^2 = 2 a s

a = (10^2 - 5^2)/2*50 = 0.75 m/s^2

t = (v - u)/a = 5/0.75 = 20/3 sec
