Answer:

Explanation:

Given :-

Radius of circular track, r = 105 m

Time taken, t = 2 min = 2 × 60 = 120 seconds

To Find :-

Speed.

Formula to be used :-

Circumference of circle = 2πr

Speed = Distance/Time

Solution :-

Putting all the values, we get

Circumference of circular track = 2πr

⇒ Circumference of circular track = 2 × 22/7 × 105

⇒ Circumference of circular track = 660 m

Now,

Speed = Distance/Time

⇒ Speed = 660/120

⇒ Speed = 5.5 m/s

Hence, the speed is 5.5 m/s.

Answer: His speed is 5.5 m/s.

Explanation: A cyclist goes around a circular track once every 2 minutes.

If the radius of the circular track is 105 meters,

Radius , r = 105

time t = 2min

         = 120 second

we know also

circumference or distance of circle = 2πr

2\times\frac{22}{7} \times 105

⇒ 660 m

∴ speed = \frac{Distance}{Time}

\frac{660}{120}

⇒ 5.5 m/s

Hence, his speed is 5.5 m/s.
