A cyclist goes around a circular track once every 2 minutes. If the radius of the circular

track is 105 meters, calculate his speed.​

To Find :-

Speed

Formula to be used :-

Circumference of circle = 2πr

Speed = Distance/Time

Solution :-

Putting all the values, we get

Circumference of circle = 2πr

⇒ Circumference of circle = 2 × 22/7 × 105

Circumference of circle = 660 m

Now, speed

Speed = Distance/Time

⇒ Speed = 660/120

Speed = 5.5 m/s

Hence, the speed of cyclist is 5.5 m/s.
