A cyclist goes from one village to another at 28km/h. He returns at 24km/h. if the return journey takes two hours longer than the outward journey, what is the distance between the villages​

so distance =28×x km (i)

speed =24km/hr

time =x+2hr

distance =24(x+2) (ii)

28x=24 (x+2)

28x=24x+48

28x-24x=48

4x=48

x=48/4

so time =12

therefore distance=28×x

=28×12

=336 km ans
