Given : A cyclist is moving along a circular path of radius 98 m with a constant speed 7 m/s.

To Find :  Magnitude of displacement of cyclist at 132 s  

Solution:

circular path of radius 98 m

=> Circumference = 2πR

= 2 * (22/7) *  98

= 616 m

constant speed 7 m/s.

Time  = 132 s

=> Distance = 132 * 7

=> Distance = 924  

=> Distance = 616 + 616/2  m

=> one and half circle

=> Displacement  = Diameter  = 2 * 98   = 196 m

Magnitude of displacement of cyclist at 132 s is 196 m
