Given:
Velocity = 10.8 km/hr
Acceleration = 3 m/s²
To Find:
Distance at which they will meet again
Solution:
Taking the equation v = u + at
Substituting the values
10.8 x 5/18 = 0 + 3t
t = 10.8 x 5 / 18 x 3
t = 54/54
t = 1
Now,
v = d/t, thus
d = 10.8 x 5/18 x t
= 54/18
= 3
Answer: The distance they will meet again is 3m
