Given,
Radius of the track=40m
Half the revolution = diameter of the circle
.°.diameter of the circle = 2*40
=80m
Now,
average velocity = s/t
=80/40
=2m/s

r = 40 m

t= 40sec

diameter of circle is 2*40
= 80m
s=d/t

s = 80/40

s = 2m/sec...
