Explanation:

As the distance of the circular track is = 2πr. for perimeter of circle

radius = 50 m = 1/20 km

Putting the radius to find distance = 2*π*1/20

distance =1/10π

time= 4 min= 1/25 hrs

av speed = t distance/t time

speed= 1/10π/1/25

speed=11/7

velocity will be = 0

because displacement is zero

ANSWER

a) 1.308m/s

b)0

EXPLANATION

a) radius = 50m , time = 4 min= 4*60s=240s

average speed= total distance covered/ total time

= total distance = circumference of circle= 2\pir

= 2* 3.14 * 50= 314m

average speed= 314/ 240= 1.308m/s

b) average velocity=0

because since displacement = 0 as initial and final positions are same we know velocity = displacement/ time= 0/time=0
