10 m , (1+pi )/60 m/s

2000rohan: displacement is 10 m but avg speed i got pi/60 how it is 1+pi /60 m/s
2000rohan: can u plz explain
kadapaakash: please elaborate it

"Given:

Radius: 10m

Time: 10 minutes: 600 seconds

Average speed: ?

Solution:

The distance of the circular path can be found out by addition of radius and circumference of cirular path.

Distance = Radius + Circumference

              = 10m + (2 \pi \times 10)

Time = 600 seconds

And the average speed is given by the following relation:

       Average speed = \frac{ Distance}{time}  =  \frac{10 (1 + 2\pi)}{600}

                               = \frac{(1 + 2\pi)} {60}  m/sec"
