thus, distance2= speed2/time2= 13/1 = 13km

average speed=total distance/ total time

= (distance1+ distance2)/ (time1+time2)

= (5+13)/ (2+1)

=18/3

=6km/hr

thus the avg speed of he car is 6km/hr
