Answer:

given - speed = 15 metre per 3sec

to find - speed in km / hr

proof = change metre in km

15 / 1000 = 0.015 km

change second in minute

3 / 60 = 1 / 20 minute

speed = distance / time

= 0.015km / 1 / 20

= 0.015 × 20 / 1 (if any number is in divide of the number which is divided is transfer to multiply i.e 1/2/3 = 1 × 3 / 2 )

= 15 × 2 /100 (we can remove zero by adding zero in divide )

30 / 100 =3.333 km per hour

thus, speed = 3.333 km per hr

speed = 3.34 km per hr ( if the number is repeating we can add 1 in it and repeat the number no more
