DISTANCE MOVED = TOTAL LENGTH OF PATH TRAVELLED =(8 + 6)km = 14 km
BY APPLYING PYTHAGORAS THEOREM
DISPLACEMENT = x (let)
we get,
x^2= 8^2 + 6^2
equating we get
x^2 = 100
x=√100 =10
DISPLACEMENT= 10 km

priyankajoshi59: tumhara displacement glt hai ye pythagoras th. se solve hoga aur acc. to that hypotnuse kbhi bhi perpendicular ya fr base se chota nhi hota hai
SWATTIKMUKHOPADHYAY: read the question
SWATTIKMUKHOPADHYAY: it is 8 not 18
priyankajoshi59: oo i m sorry
ranveer51: its ok

1) distance = PQ + QR
= 18+6
=24 km

2) displacement can be found by using pythagoras th.
h²=p²+ b²
h²=6² + 18²
h² = 36 + 324
h² = 360
h²=√360
h²=18.97

ranveer51: wrong
ranveer51: displacement is 10
SWATTIKMUKHOPADHYAY: yes
priyankajoshi59: yes u r wright its wrong i m sorry
