 \large\bf\underline {To \: find:-}

  • we need to find the distance travelled by the cyclist in 50 minutes.

 \huge\bf\underline{Solution:-}

 \bf\underline{\red{Given:-}}

  • Speed = 20km/h
  • Time = 50 minutes

Converting speed into m/s

  • 1 km = 1000 meters
  • 1 hour = 3600 seconds

➳ 20 × 1000/1 × 3600

➳ 20000/3600

➳ 200/36

➳ Speed = 50/9 m/s

Now, Converting Time into Seconds

  • 1 minutes = 60 seconds

➳ 50 × 60

➳ 3000 second

Now, Calculating distance travelled by cyclist in 50 minutes.

We know that,

▶ Distance = speed × Time

→ Distance = 50/9 × 3000

→ Distance = 150000 /9

→ Distance = 16666.66 meters

→ Distance = 16.66 Km

Hence,

The cyclist will cover 16.66 km in 50 minutes

★Answer★

Given that speed(v) = 20km/h and time(t) = 50 min

We have to find distance (d)

First convert speed into m/s

v = (20*1000m)/(1*3600s)

v = (50/9) m/s

Now convert time into second

t = 50*60 = 3000 sec

As we know that

d = v*t = (50/9)*3000 = 50000/3

d = 16666.67m or 16.67km

Ans: 16666.67m or 16.67km
