A cylinder 6 cm in diameter is partially filled with water. A sphere 3 cm in diameter is gently dropped into the cylinder. To what further height will the water in the cylinder rise?

volume of the cylinder=volume of the sphere

22/7×3×3×h=4/3×22/7×27/8

h=4/3×27/72

h=4.5 cm
