A cylinder and a cone are of same base radius and same height. Find the ratio of the volumes of the cylinder to that of the cone.

Let 'r' be the base radius.

Let 'h' be the height.

Volume of cylinder = πr²h

Volume of cone = \frac{1}{3} πr²h

\frac{Volume \ of \ Cylinder}{Volume \ of \ Cone} =  πr²h/ \frac{1}{3} πr²h

=  \frac{3}{1}

∴ the required ratio is 3 : 1

Hope this helps uh! ♡
