Volume of a cylinder = πr^2h
Vol. Of a right circular cone =1/3πr^2h
. both have same base and same height
..Volume of the cylinder / vol of the cone = πr^2h / 1/3πr^2h
Vol of cylinder / vol of cone = 3/1
Volume of cylinder = 3 × volume of the cone

Hope it will help you
