12ml of gas requires 24ml of Oxygen

V1 = vol of gas

V2 = vol of Oxygen

V1/ V2 = 12/ 54= 2/9

by Avagadros law,

V is directly proportional to moles of gas

n1/ n2= 2/9

i.e 2 moles of gas requires 9 moles of Oxygen

i.e 1mole of gas requires 9/2 moles of oxygen

hence the given gas is propylene..
