Answer:

Given that,

Diameter = 14v cm

So, Radius = 7 cm

We know that,

Curved surface area of cylinder = 2

rh

220 cm2 = 2

rh

h =

h = 5 cm

Therefore,

Volume of cylinder =

r2h

=

× 7 × 7 × 5

= 770 cm3

Hence, option A is correct

Given :-

A cylinder has a diameter of 14 cm and the area of its curved surface is 220 cm²

To Find :-

CSA

Solution :-

Radius = D/2

Radius = 14/2

Radius = 7 cm

CSA = 2πrh

Let the height be h

220 = 2 × 22/7 × 7 × h

220 = 44/7 × 7 × h

220 = 44h

220/44 = h

5 = h

Now

Volume = πr²h

Volume = 22/7 × (7)² × 5

Volume = 22/7 × 49 × 5

Volume = 22 × 7 × 5

Volume = 770 cm³
